Nordic Walking Classes in North Dorset and South Somerset

  • Health Level- learn steps 1-4; the basic technique.  
  • Fit Level - learn steps 1-10; progress towards full technique, including uphill and downhill techniques to further increase your fitness.
  • Sports Level - learn steps 1-10; the full technique, uphill/downhill training, leaping, bounding, running, interval and endurance training. Fun, personalised training programmes can be created for increased fitness or specific goals.


Booking a 6 weeks block, it is the most effective way for you to learn the basic skills of Nordic Walking.  You can progress on to learning the advanced technique.  Nordic walking can be taken to a high sporting level and there are various competitive events that you can enter should you be interested in doing so.  There is also a pay-as-you go option.

Class locations - we are currently running various classes in Gillingham, Shaftesbury and Pen Selwood, but new location suggestions are always welcome.  For some examples of our meeting points go to our locations page.
